#TeamForesight accepted their 'supporting young people' award on Friday night.
The annual Oldham Business Awards is a celebration of all that is positive about the business community. The event was in full swing following an almost three-year hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic and a slight delay due to the sad passing of HRM Queen Elizabeth II.
The former Chronicle Business Editor Martyn Torr and ITV's Caroline Whitmore hosted the event. The evening was topped when Foresight was announced the winner of the 'Supporting Young People' award, which resulted in most of the team celebrating at the venue until the early hours of Saturday.
Team foresight attended the Queen Elizabeth Hall venue on Friday night alongside clients, family, friends and sector leaders from throughout the borough. Foresight would like to thank our guests for attending the night and helping us celebrate in style. Hopefully, the hangover was worth it!
Foresight also sponsored the 'Micro Business Of The Year Award' which saw The LDM Team take home the win. The LDM team were 'very, very proud' to secure their success at winning this award, with Craig Barrett, our Director, saying: "It's so very important that we all continue to support these small businesses - congratulations to everyone at LDM."
Founded in 2009, the awards have become part of the Oldham business fabric, with attendance at the Queen Elizabeth Hall surpassing the 600-people mark.
Covid regulations and government-led lockdowns mean the awards have not been held for three years, but the steering group behind the event has always been meeting regularly during the pandemic.
The Oldham Business Awards also continues to raise funds for two nominated Oldham charities – Dr Kershaw’s Hospice and the Mahdlo Youth Zone. The total amount of money raised it's still to be announced.
Roll on 2023 for the 14th year of the Oldham Business Awards, where hopefully, Foresight will take home another award!
